What AirMixa Does

AirMixa streams audio from your Mac to your phone or tablet over your local Wi-Fi network. This is a direct connection between your devices — no data passes through any external server.

No user accounts
No cloud services
No internet connections beyond your local network

Data Stored on Your Device

AirMixa stores your preferences (such as transport mode and visual effects settings) locally on your Mac using standard macOS user defaults. These settings never leave your device.

Third-Party Services

AirMixa does not integrate with any third-party services or SDKs that collect data. The app includes an open-source WebRTC library (BSD-licensed) for local audio transport — this library makes no external network connections.

Network Activity

All network activity is confined to your local network:

AirMixa runs a local HTTP server on your Mac so your phone can connect
Audio streams directly between your Mac and your phone over Wi-Fi
No data is sent to the internet

Children's Privacy

AirMixa does not collect any data from anyone, including children.
